Melissa Reeve, BA Psych (Hons) is a registered Psychologist and Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), with over 15 years of experience in a range of mental health settings.
Melissa has worked in public mental health teams, counselling programs, rehabilitation services and private practices with adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience in providing psychological interventions and counselling for a range of mental health issues. These include depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, trauma / PTSD, substance abuse, and coping with chronic illnesses.
Melissa places strong value on the therapeutic relationship and aims to provide a safe, collaborative and supportive environment to explore her clients’ concerns.
Melissa utilises a range of evidence-based interventions that are tailored to individual needs including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Schema based Therapy approaches.
Melissa enjoys working with young persons to mature-aged adults (16 to 65+ years). She is a registered provider of services under Medicare, Open Arms, TAC, WorkSafe, and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
