Bettine completed her medical degree in 1992 in Berlin, Germany. She worked in the UK between 1993 and 2010 where she completed her GP training in 1998.
In her previous practice Bettine set up a palliative care network, coordinating services for terminally ill patients. As a mother of 3 sons she enjoys seeing families and their children. She has a special interest in pain management, chronic disease management and treatment of depression/anxiety.
Bettine has a Diploma in Diabetes care and is licensed to perform Implanon insertions. She is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and holds specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Bettine also holds specialist registration in Germany and in the United Kingdom.
In her free time, Bettine is a volunteer for Victoria State Emergency Services.
