What is Clinical Physiotherapy?

A low impact, patient specific form of exercise that is used by physiotherapists to help with the rehabilitation and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries, particularly back pain. Specialised equipment may be used along with floor exercises and exercises performed on a ball. One of the major focuses of this type of therapy is the development of strength and control in the deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. Clinical Physiotherapy focuses on postural education and allowing optimal movement in the body.
