Bhakti De Bon is a registered Mental Health Clinician with 20 years of experience in a wide range of settings, including individual and family Counselling in private practice, Community Mental Health Teams and Outreach.
She obtained her Qualifications from the University of Cologne/ Germany, followed by a Thesis Statement about the Dynamics of Depression. Bhakti has experience training Therapists and Welfare Workers.
Bhakti provides single sessions, short and long term psychological services to Adults as well as Children and Teenagers up to the age of 13.
She utilises a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches including mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, CBT and Trauma focused interventions. As well as anxiety, depression and chronic stress, Bhakti treats and supports patients with parenting issues, chronic illnesses and chronic pain and weight problems.
Bhakti has a special interest in the connections between physical and mental health and has developed the mental health component of Kardinia Health’s Weight Management Program.
