Getting to Kardinia Health by Public Transport (Bus)
Bus services run to and from the Moorabool Street Bus Interchange in Geelong city to:
- Deakin University, Waurn Ponds (Route 1)
The closest stop is Sirovilla Retirement Village on Colac Road which is approximately a 230 metre walk from Kardinia Health.
The service runs at approximately 20 minute intervals with a travel time of approximately 18 minutes (this will vary with traffic conditions).

How do I make an appointment?

Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and choice of practitioner. Longer consultations are available, so please advise our reception staff if you require some extra time.
How do I arrange a Home Visit?
Home visits are available for registered patients who are unable to attend and live in Belmont, Grovedale, Highton, Marshall, Wandana Heights and Waurn Ponds.
To arrange a home visit, please contact our reception staff on (03) 5202 9333 and they will liaise with your usual GP to organise this for you.
How do I arrange a After-hours Visit?
When our practice is closed, please call the Home Visiting Doctor Service on 137 425 or (03) 9429 5677.
This service is bulk billed upon presentation of a valid Medicare card.
Fees – What is Kardinia Health’s Billing Policy?
Fees for consultations and services at Kardinia Health are payable at the time of consultation by cash, MasterCard, Visa or EFTPOS.
If you have difficulty in paying for your consultation, please discuss this with our Practice Manager.
Holders of valid, Commonwealth Concession cards (excluding the Seniors Card) and people under the age of 16 will be bulk billed for Medicare rebatable services.
All other patients will be privately billed.
A fee may also be charged for missed appointments.

You can contact your doctor by calling during surgery hours.
Our practitioners will generally not take calls whilst they are consulting, so if your doctor is unable to speak to you at the time that you call, you are welcome to leave a message so that they can return your call at their earliest opportunity.
Alternatively, you may wish to speak to one of our Practice Nurses.
Urgent calls will always be dealt with promptly.

Your Test Results
If your doctor refers you for pathology, imaging or other diagnostic tests they will advise you of when they anticipate your results to be received.
We will only contact you if your results require follow up.
Alternatively, you may wish to make an appointment to discuss your test results with your doctor.
Recall for abnormal results will be made either by phone or mail, so please ensure that we have your most up to date contact details.
Please note that test results will not be given over the telephone.
